For this cuvée, the House makes the choice to surround itself with a pioneer in agrobiology in Champagne.
This partner has meticulously respected the specifi cations of the organic farming* since 1971.
This growing way takes care the natural balance by preserving soil quality, biodiversity,
air and water quality while excluding the harmful products for envionment.
While leaving development of nature, the wine will unveil its greatest natural expression during the tasting.
At the same time as the launch of this cuvée, the GH Martel & Cie group, owner of Charles de Cazanove is continuing its commitment by transforming its vineyards to the level 3 of the HVE *** certifi cation, for the beginning of 2021. Charles de Cazanove takes part to a global process to respect environment.
Situated in the historic heart of Reims, Maison Charles de Cazanove has been part of the Champagne story since 1811. One of the latest family and independant House which blend Tradition and Modernity, with a strong reputation in France and a notable expansion in the international markets, Charles de Cazanove stands out by its irreproachable quality and its spirited, dynamic style.
The Organic Champagne by Charles de Cazanove unveils the quintessence of the soil while taking care of delightful and discovering aspects. It is a tribute to Nature. The organic cuvée is an exclusively blend of Pinot Meunier from Vandières terroir in the « Vallée de la Marne ». Structured, powerful and fruity, the wine keeps his natural expression. 15% of reserve wines is added in its composition.
Tasting notes:
The colour is light gold and shows more deepest refl ections with a generous effervescence.
The nose is subtil and reveals soft autumn notes, then candied fruits to fi nish with small red berries.
The palate is fresh, balanced with an elegant acidity and unveils pomegranate fl avours to give a slightly lemon fi nish. The bouquet is gourmet with expressive aromas.
